5 MW of electricity generation by the solar rooftop panels will be offing at various locations in the city of Noida authorities confirmed. A solicitation for the proposal has already been prepared to welcome tenders for the completion of the work, which is estimated to get completed in the next 12 months at a cost of 43 lakh, a senior official further added.
Noida Authority General Manager Rajeev Tyagi said, “11 locations have been selected for installation of solar photovoltaic power plants that would together generate 5 MW of power.”
He further adding to his statement said that The choice is yet to be made through an e-tendering process for the selection of the contractual worker for the establishment, operation, and maintenance for a period of 25 years of the 5 MW solar photovoltaic plants, Tyagi said.
Resco Models will be mostly considered for the power plants, according to the officials.
In Resco, the bidders intend to take a rooftop owned by some other entity on mutually agreed terms and conditions, including lease agreement from the rooftop owners, and enter into the power purchase agreement with rooftop owner for the supply of solar power, said the officials.
