The Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has already started welcoming the intrigued bidders for the price quotation for installing ten numbers of Solar cold storage units. The cost of the project is approximately ₹15 million (~$210,101). A sum of amount ₹150,000 (~$2,101) needs to be deposited by the prospective bidders as the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).
Besides, the successful installation, the maintenance of the system for a period of five years will also be in the scope of the bidder. Further to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the system installed, the effective bidder is required to select a qualified technically prominent individual to monitor and maintain the cold storage system. Scheduled maintenance of each unit should be taken up every quarter, and its compliance should be reported through the mobile app. The bidder if wants on mutually agreed terms and conditions can undertake to extend the maintenance service period beyond five years.
